As you watch this video make note of the information provided. Eg why was the Wall built? who built the Wall? what was the issue in China that was being addressed? In class teams discuss whether or not you think the information presented is correct. How do we know or not know if the information is accurate?

Panoramic views from the Great Wall can be experienced at The Beijing Guide and at encarta. What can you learn from these panoramic views about the Great Wall? List three questions you have about the Wall and add these to your learning journal. Download a proforma that can be used as a Learning Journal here.

Complete a concept map on what you currently know about China and the Great Wall. Use the software Inspiration, alternatively,if this software is not available, you could use autoshapes within Word to complete this task. As you complete this task you should color code the information using the traffic light approach. Green if you are sure it is accurate and orange if you are unsure. From this you should identify a learning goal for this unit of work.

3. What is the relationship between China and Australia - past and present

Once you have completed this individually, share your knowledge with a partner. This will help you build upon each others knowledge.
